Holistik is an online magazine for the sustainable do-gooder, founded by Karlijn Visser and Evelyn van Hasselt. Holistic is the idea that each whole is more than the sum of its parts, that everything is inextricably linked.
The inspiration for the brand concept was the Japanese philosophy 'Wabi Sabi', which embraces the beauty of imperfection - a look at life that fits in perfectly with the Holistik vision.
We aimed to make the typography style a green glamour style. Nothing over the top but stylish yet humble. A combination of a strong & classy typefaces with a minimal text style for highlights.
To give Holistik a more daily vibe, we decided to use a variety of colors for different moods & moments.
Embrace the beauty of imperfections, one of the key elements of a holistic lifestyle. We translated this in a symbolic imperfect raw edge of a torn paper.
